7月9日（土・現地時間）にアルゼンチン・ブエノスアイレスで「Copa Podio 2016 Middleweight Grand Prix」が開催され、イベントの目玉であるミドル級GPでは予選リーグをレアンドロ・ロ、ニコラス・マレガリ、エルバース・サントス、ディエゴ・ボルジェスの4選手が勝ち上がり、決勝でレアンドロ・ロがエルバース・サントスを6-0で下して優勝しています。
また"Vikings vs The Cabras da Peste"と銘打たれた3対3対抗戦の大将戦として行われたアレキサンダー・トランスvsブラウリオ・エスティマの一戦は6-0でアレキサンダー・トランスが勝利しています。
